For more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of serving the residents of Savage - 11 years on the Planning Commission and 9 years on the City Council.
During that time, I have helped shape the vision, priorities, and growth of our community while maintaining a strong commitment to fiscal responsibility and quality public services.
Now, I am seeking the opportunity to continue that service as your
Scott County Commissioner for Savage District 5

My family and I have called Savage home since 1998 (28 years).
Cindy and I have been married for 33 years, and together we have raised three children and welcomed six grandchildren.
Our family has grown alongside this community, and I remain committed to ensuring that Savage and Scott County continue to be great places to live, work, and raise a family.

Why I'm Running
I have spent over two decades building the Savage we know today.
I understand where we have been, where we are going, and what challenges lie ahead.
My approach is simple:
No Politics
Non-Partisanship
Just doing what is right for the people we serve.
Local government works best when leaders focus on practical solutions, responsible stewardship, and collaboration. The decisions made at the county level affect our daily lives, our families, our businesses, and our future.

Public Service
Business Experience

Community Leadership
Savage deserves strong representation and a clear voice in county decision-making.
I will advocate for the priorities, goals, and needs of Savage residents while working collaboratively with neighboring communities and county leaders.
Taxpayer dollars should be managed carefully and efficiently.
My experience on the Savage City Council helped maintain sound financial practices and contributed to Savage's AAA bond rating.
As County Commissioner, I will continue to focus on responsible budgeting while protecting essential county services.
One of the most important questions we face is whether our children and grandchildren can afford to live in the communities where they grew up.
I support practical solutions that expand affordable and workforce housing opportunities while maintaining the character and quality of our neighborhoods.
Strong transportation systems support residents, businesses, and future growth. I will continue working to advance transportation improvements, including:
As a small business owner for more than 36 years, I understand the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses.
Scott County should foster a business-friendly environment that encourages investment, job creation, and economic growth.
Our future depends on preparing the next generation for success.
Through my work with SCALE and Live Learn Earn, I have focused on workforce readiness, housing, transportation, and educational opportunities
I support efforts to strengthen post-secondary educational options within Scott County and help retain local talent.
County government provides many services residents depend on every day, including:
As state and federal funding changes and unfunded mandates increase, thoughtful leadership will be essential to maintaining these services efficiently and effectively.
The vitality and success of Scott County doesn't stop at the county line.
We must work with City, State, Regional and Neighboring Communities to collaborate on the success for all of us.
My current work with these many levels of government provides me the unique opportunity to hit the ground running without the learning curve.
I'm already doing the job.
